We've noticed a lame Canada goose with a dragging wing hanging around the cove near the House of Goodwill. He can't fly, and it's been pitiful watching him waddle around alone. He spent all morning Saturday calling out to his flock, but no one came.
When I was out kayaking Saturday evening, I was happy to see he found a friend! I watched them swim off together, side by side.
So when I happened across an amazing Goodwill find on Sunday, I had to send this text to my husband:
What happened next?
I'm sure nothing more appropriate than these Canadian Canada geese could be found for the wall.
And random fun fact - this was found at the Goodwill by my home/house, which is more than an hour from the nearest lake. You just never know what you're going to find at Goodwill....
